FC Not Alone teamed up with design agency DailyBread to redesign their logo & to create a football kit which could be use to raise awareness and funds for the suicide prevention charity CALM.
After the first FC Not Alone tournament in June 2018, FC Not Alone Co-Founder Ian McKenzie quickly knocked up a logo using an online logo maker tool. Once the tournament had finished, it was a priority to develop FC Not Alone’s brand identity and we turned to an up and coming design agency called DailyBread to do that.
DailyBread helped us to create a brand new logo and also designed us a football kit which we would use to promote mental health awareness and to raise money for the suicide prevention CALM. The kits still have not gone on general sale but the intention is to have them on sale by August 2019.
The beauty of working with DailyBread was that they filmed the whole process of redesigning FC Not Alone’s brand identity. The special documentary episode is at the bottom of this page.
For the revised logo, we wanted to use the handshake which is synonymous with football. This handshake represents UNITY which is one of three of FC Not Alone’s key words (Unity, Peace and Bravery).
The kit design includes an army inspired pattern which mirrors on the back of the shirt. An army despite being involved within conflict, shows great Unity and Bravery as they fight for Peace. We felt this was apt for FC Not Alone supporters.
