Since late 2018, adidas has supported FC Not Alone’s activity and have been key in helping us behind the scenes with some of our biggest activities. In October last year, adidas launched the adidas Football Collective which is their new movement to help create social change through football.
- The adidas Football Collective brings together past, current and future initiatives aiming to empower teams and football communities around the world
- Uniting under one badge, adidas is working with local change makers to develop and evolve city-specific activations by deploying resources to teams that give access where it isn’t readily available including disability champions, female game-makers and teams from the LGBTQIA+ community
adidas Football Collective ambassador Jürgen Klopp comments; “Now more than ever, there is a need for our community to utilise the power of the game to help drive positive change within football and as a tool outside of it. I’m proud to be part of the adidas Football Collective, and although of course, it’s not the answer, I hope together we can help clear the way for the next generation of player, whoever they are, wish to be or where they come from”.
Our partnership with the adidas Football Collective will see FC Not Alone and adidas working together to deliver football-for-all sessions and offer Mental health coaching and coping tools to everyone who needs them.
By working with the adidas Football Collective, we believe we have a brand behind us that can help FC Not Alone reach its full potential. We love using football to bring people together in a physical way and with support from adidas, we believe we will be able to create positive experiences, friendships and enjoyment to more lives than we would have done before. That’s what it is all about for us really.
Over the next few weeks, there will be more information regarding our football-for-all sessions and we will be looking to kick these off in May 2021.
